On Thursday, 3rd of March we'll be celebrating World Book Day, and this year it's their
25th anniversary!

There will be all kinds of exciting events and activities happening as part of the celebrations, as well as a selection £1.00 books that children can choose for free with their World Book Day book tokens.

We're kicking off the World Book Day celebrations early this year with a special signing event with Paula Harrison!

Paula Harrison is one of our absolute favourite children's authors and she'll be at Tales on Moon Lane on Monday, 28th of February to sign her superhero book series - Kitty.

Paula will be here from 3:45pm so come along and join the adventure, make your own Kitty superhero mask and pick up the latest book in the series - Kitty and the Woodland Wildcat.

World Book Day Competition

To enter our World Book Day competition, all you need to do is write a blurb or design a cover for you favourite book. It can be a picture book, fiction or non-fiction, we just want to see your amazing writing and drawings.

The competition is open from now until Saturday, 5th of March, so come along and drop your entry in our box, with your name and contact details, for the chance to win a goody bag of prizes.

World Book Day Book Swap

From Saturday, 5th March to Sunday, 6th March, we'll be running a book swap at Tales on Moon Lane.

You'll be able to come into the shop to drop off a book you've finished reading and pick up a different one that someone else has already read and loved.

We'll have a drop and swap book box in the shop and any books left over will be donated to the Acorn Book Club.
