Storytelling Competition

Herne Hill Kids' Lit Fest is inviting you to enter their storytelling competition for the chance to win some amazing prizes!

Your story can take any form you like, whether its writing, drawing, comic strip, drama, poetry, or anything else. The theme of this competition is 'Bouncing Back' so your story could be about, hopping, jumping and not sitting still, or it could be about how you're feeling now that the world is getting back to normal. It could be an adventure, a fantasy, a mystery... whatever you like.

There are three age categories for children to enter: 4-7 years, 8-12 years and 12+. First place will win a £25 book token, £15 for second place and £10 for third place. As an added bonus, the winner of each age group will also win a bundle of fantastic books for their school!

You can find more information about how to enter the storytelling competition here or you can watch this video

Good luck! We can't wait to read your stories!
