'We' in this website refers to Tamara Linke t/a Tales on Moon Lane and includes our sister companies Moon Lane Education Ltd and Moon Lane Ink CIC t/a Moon Lane Books. Within the scope of GDPR rules we are a 'data controller'.

We collect your name and email when you sign up for our newsletter.

We collect your name, postcode, email or phone number when you join our loyalty scheme or when you place an order with us at the shop, over the phone or via email.

We collect your name, full address, email and phone number, and card details when you buy tickets or gift cards online. In case of posting to the gift receiver directly, their address is also collected.

3. How we use the information we collect

When you sign up to our newsletter, we use your email to send our newsletter.

When you sign up to our loyalty scheme, we use your personal information to identify you and allocate the loyalty points earned.

We use your personal information to process the order, take payment and fulfill the order you have placed with us. In case of posting to the gift receiver directly, we use their address to complete the order.

4. The lawful basis for using your information

We rely on your consent in relation to the newsletter subscription and all orders placed with us. We do not track or use this information for any other purpose.

5. Who we share your information with

We never share or sell your information with 3rd parties for marketing purposes. When necessary to share your information to fulfill orders or send newsletters, we do so in a safe and secure manner that fulfill legal requirements. We may share your information with 3rd party providers:

- Email service providers for our newsletters

- Payment service providers for processing transactions

- Companies that provide us with IT help for our loyalty scheme and order processing

6. How we protect your information

We have implemented security measures designed to ensure that access to your data in any form is strictly monitored and limited. We keep effective data protection software in place wherever information is stored digitally, and by monitoring and protecting our website with appropriate security measures. We work closely and securely with any 3rd parties that we have had to share your data with as outlined in the above section 5.

7. What are cookies and why do we use them

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser, usually used to keep track of their movements and actions on a site. We use cookies on our website security and to manage bookings & purchases.
