Tales On Moon Lane and Usborne Books invites you to afternoon tea with author Lucy Ivison.

Not only is it Independent Bookshop Week 19th – 26th June, but also the launch of Lucy’s latest book in the UK, Sequins and Secrets. The House of Serendipity is a gorgeously glamorous new series, filled with 1920s period detail.

Afternoon Tea will be served at 4pm on Saturday 19th of June, hosted by the Roome Café, next door to Tales on Moon Lane. For the sum of £10, you will get a hot chocolate or tea, cake, and a copy of the book. Accompanying adults can buy a ticket without a copy of the book for £6. Lucy will be sharing (sequins and) secrets about her research for the book, and leading an activity to design clothing. Suitable for ages 8+. Places are very limited, so book your ticket today, then you can get your best glad rags on and enjoy drinking your ‘Noodle Juice’!
